It was good to see everyone last night. Mach killed the floor. D dipped with Cik's frames. Adam, Trav, Lily, Guy...
I played a lot of music I didn't think I was going to play.

My favorite part of the night was when I left the club around 4, I over heard a guy talking to his girlfriend as they got into a taxi. As he opens the door the tells her "That's a handgun sweetie, Someone left their handgun back here." and they drive off.

I really did enjoy their debut 'Bright Like Neon Love' from 2004. I just felt they captured the 1980's vibe better than tons of those bands emulating the same damn sound, is all.


So their new album, due out this summer, is produced by Tim Goldsworthy (1/2 of The DFA).

(UNMASKED, INDIE FILM BOMBING > EVERYTHING ELSE) 2 weeks later, a black kid who works at Alife Rivington Club got knocked for that exact Midtown sequence. The cops obivously got the wrong kid.
